Welcome
Pathways is my way of giving back to the transgendered community; it is a resource strand, biography of my transition, and a look into the spititual side of the whole process. I strongly advise anyone who is looking for a sexual, sadistic, submissive, or otherwise perverted experience to walk away now as this section will not offer any of that to you. If you are genuinely interested in finding out more please mail me; I will answer any questions that I am asked.
This strand deals with lots of different ideas, but one thing that connects them all is that I believe that everyone is equal and no one is more equal than anyone else. We all have to accept and take ownership for ourselves and everything we choose to do. Gender expression is a complexity all unto itself, and while a person's gender identity may be concrete, the way they express it is as the stars in the sky or the sand on the shore. We all have to look in the mirror and know deep down inside that we are in the outside the physical representation of the soul (or spirit) on the inside. Most people will at some point in their lives seek to change the external to match their minds eye, whether it be through surgery, weight loss, or a simple hair cut; people who forwhatever reason transition their gender are expressing the ultimate inconcruity that a human can go through. Like all things transgender (and all the connected words) look good on paper, but when you try to pin down each person to a deffinition you end up with the sands on the shore again.

Section ethos:
This section is here to help, enlighten, guide, answer questions, and to provide a safe space for any one seeking answers in regards to their gender. I myself am a 24 year old male-to-female pre op transsexual (that's if I have to use a label), and I have been travelling along this path since 10th March 2000. I hope to give you a sense of the beauty that has come through the proccess of sculpting myself, and also show that being the person inside is such a liberating experience. You may be many years past my point, or just dipping your toes into the water, or you may just be curious as to whom goes through this metamorphesis. We are all unique, each of us having chosen our own route across the plain of life. For me this whole process is about completing my life triangle - my mind and spirit are as one, my physical expression is being rendered into one that matches them. This section is here to bring a candle to the dark and pierce through the obvious, the mysterious, and the tabboo. I suspect many of you will disagree with some of what I have to say, but please take what you will from my writing and let it give you succour.

The X and Y of it all:
X is for a person on the end of the line,
In limbo in cyber space waiting for me.
Y is the chromosone that makes me unique,
Different from all the other the boys.
X is for marks the spot where he resigned,
Shredded heart left floundering at sea.
Y is the shape I am in spring physique,
Curves sculpted into vision of joy.
X is for the faith I hold to be divine,
Always and forever it sets me free.
Y is all the questions I seem to entreat,
Answers eluding forever to remain coy.
